Cllr Smith
I was born in Thanet and I have lived in many areas of Thanet but for the last 10 years I have lived in Minster.
Throughout my education I have studied a variety of subjects like History, Geography and Criminology this has allowed me to gain an interest in politics, this is also reinforced by the fact that I am currently studying history at the University of Kent.
I have a keen interest in the Civil Service, government, politics and education that is why as well as studying History at university I am also working as private tutor and I am also a committee member of the local Village Hall.
Key interests include fishing, reading and playing badminton and of course studying history and politics.
The reason why I wanted to become a councillor is that I want to help the community I live in also hopefully start a long career devoted to public service.
